Note : CHS has some charts only available in paper but unavailable in digital form, especially in the Arctic part : this concerns a number of old charts in which the horizontal datum is either unknown or is so poorly positioned that these charts are unusable with modern precise positioning technology. A mere one per cent of the Canadian Arctic is charted to 'modern standards.
